Cool Kids Learn is pleased to announce the 2010 CKL Summer Renaissance Fellowship, a program for exceptional teachers who have a passion for inspiring students to excel. This competitive program supports CKL’s belief that inspired teachers are the key to inspiring students.
The CKL Renaissance Fellowship will provide teachers with the opportunity to develop expertise in two of today’s most creative teaching methods – the Problem Based Learning and Multiple Intelligences -- as well as the opportunity to put these strategies into practice during a 6-week teaching placement at one of CKL’s Summer Academy locations.

Eligibility:
Certified teachers in Florida public schools, private and parochial schools, substitute teachers, retired teachers and graduate level students are eligible to apply. Nationally Board Certified Teachers preferred.
Time Commitment:
Recipients of the fellowship must participate in the Renaissance Training Institute for two Saturdays in May 2010 (8th & 15th). Applicants must also commit to a part-time teaching assignment during the summer of 2010 should they be offered this opportunity. The teacher must be present each day of the six week camp. Note: To continue to the six-week teaching placement, applicants must successfully complete the training program.
Employment is contingent upon passing a county issued background check.
