Cool Kids Learn, Inc. (CKL) was created in the Fall of 1999 by a group of women who believed that all children have the power to learn. Andrea Kilpatrick, Tracy Seaton, Dorothy Delima, Dorothea Copeland, Cutari Copeland and Cutonya Copeland created our first summer program for students who wanted to explore, create and understand. Based on their experiences as elementary and middle school educators, the group developed a program designed to reinforce academic basics and build student interest in learning.
The response was overwhelmingly positive. To achieve an even greater impact on children's lives, CKL grew its operations to include after-school and tutoring programs. Since that time, Cool Kids Learn has helped thousands of students build their academic confidence and passion for learning. |
